What Interbike Hub means for the future
Interbike Hub is a digital extension of the trade show, allowing exhibitors to deliver brand, product, and technology information to their dealers and consumers 24/7, 365 days a year - extending both the timeliness and relevance of the Interbike experience to a broader audience. Customized online brand exhibits not only deliver video and downloadable content, but also allow exhibitors to connect qualified buyers directly to online wholesale catalogs and to build and create dealer orders. Developed in partnership with Sparc Retail, LLC, a provider of integrated web-based Media and B2B solutions, Interbike Hub is integrated with Sparcʼs Hubsoft eCommerce tools, allowing manufacturers and retailers to transact the business of cycling.
“The timing of the show and the buying cycle have been the subject of lot of debate.” said Andy Tompkins, Interbike Director. “We developed Interbike Hub so that brands and retailers can interact on their timeline.” John Telfer, VP of Business Development at Sparc adds “The role of the trade show is continually evolving. The goal was to develop an online compliment to the show that not only engages dealers with content, but also supports order creation and management.” And Tompkins concludes “We wanted to focus an online element that tackles the two main functions of the show - exhibiting product in a branded environment and getting orders. This will allow a lot more of the show focus to be around the relationship between brand and dealer”
